A Year and 12 Seconds

A year and 12 seconds
I've shared dreams with you
A year and 12 minutes
I've laughed with you
A year and 12 hours
I've prayed for your happiness
A year and always
I'll be by your side.

Nightsky

Stars are falling one by one
but you and I will remain
holding up above,
lighted and twinkling
in the clear night sky

Like Kings and Queens

We are dignified like kings and queens.
We are respected like we're majesty.
We defend our throne, our seat of freedom
With strength of character as our very army.
We live like real kings and queens
with no servants but ourselves.

Fly Me to the Moon

Because the moon tonight has been lovely and smiling, I'd like to fly to the moon and feel its happiness. I wonder what makes the night sky so happy tonight. I wonder what beauty it sees in the universe to make it smile so lovely tonight. Is it because of Venus so near to it that gives a smile of sublime beauty?

Happy night, happy sky. :) I hope your night is a happy one, too.

Today said I love you

Today said I love you
to her dearest Tomorrow
But the two could never meet
not until they're both in the past

Come Fly Away With Me

Come fly away with me
and we'll change the color of the sky
to green, yellow, orange and pink
Come float away with me
and we'll change the color of the sea
to teal, turquoise with a hint of gold
Come away with me
and we'll be in colors we've always wanted
in spring and autumn colors
in summer and winter hues

Chiaroscuro

Let shadows flail and wail in burrow
Let light float above the foreground shadow
Let shadows thin out in the grief of midnight sonnet
Let light dance in ballet with a beautiful pirouette.

To The Audience

Tears fell from their eyes,
but we'd laugh just the same
as if everything's part of the show
because we, the audience
just didn't know.

we were naive to their sorrow.
we knew none of their fears
and we were laughing so hard
as they stood together
in each other's arms

To Fables

We read and we listen,
we leaf through your pages.

In your simple world you speak of truth,
in her extravagant life, she speaks of beauty.

You are wisdom, and she is love.
She is popular, and you are barely known.

Is it not wisdom that we need
Are you not the words we need to hear?

You speak of a simple life,
Life in simple happiness and truth.

To Your Random Ways

In fragmented pieces you walk on the ramp.
In incomplete thoughts, you speak your words.
You act like you're certain, but aren't really.
In confusion, you laugh and walk away slowly.

To Your Unbelief

There is magic even in your state of disbelief. You are awed even if you show refusal to concede.

To October

september left unnoticed
flooded and drained out.
october's coming in discretely

Formalin

it was a snippet of sanity coming to my senses
when i got to talk with you. drowned and drunken
with formalin vapor, my eyes and my head was
hurting and swirling. i see you, or so it seems.

Dead Silence

much as you try to get a hold of its losing end
it slips your grip, and thins out in the air.
the sounding vibrations decreases amplitude
and you hear none of the last word uttered.

before realizing what had happened
it has already buried itself into nothingness.

you just hit yourself with
dead silence.

fictional dream

I woke up at dawn seeing the purple sky hanging so low. As it was clearing with the trace of last night's starless sky, I got up to see if my little bugs are still alive. some were still asleep, as the others were already in their morning rush. *tap tap* Stop rushing nowhere. The dutiful clouds were coming in, ready to make my day. Good morning, sky! The morning was shaping to be a good one, and I was loving every inch of it. In my PJs I headed to the kitchen, got my box of cereals and poured some low fat milk. yawn. *smile*

I got back to my room, and all my little bugs were up already, except for one. oh no. little bug, are you dead? *tap tap* and it rolled to the other end. Well and good, this little bug thought it'd be better to give space to the rest of the bugs. The sky was no longer purple, as if blood rushed to its cheek. Good morning, sky. The morning was shaping to be a good one, and I was loving every inch of it. I rolled back to my bed and continued my disrupted sleep.

waking up once more, the sky was so bright as if to shout good morning. The curtains could not hold back the light rays in my face. And I woke up with glee, don't hold back the sun rays, please. And the day went on.

two mornings in a day, i think it's just perfect.

the little paper cranes

The little paper cranes on my hand sought to fly to a whole new world.
Between the silences and long afterthoughts
they wanted to say something to kill the silence
then they'd laugh, then they'd marvel
at the little things they hear and see
The pink paper cranes on my hand sung a tune I once heard
in the middle of thoughts and contemplation
like the humming birds they brought healing
then they'd shout, then they'd run
with the joy of little children playing under the hiding sun

happy-yo

fleeting sense
senseless flights

wide awake
with caffeine hype

happy-yo
happy-yay

how are you?
howdie ye?

---------------

i just know something significant happened today. but the lack of sleep i've been having for the past weeks is getting its toll on me. My memory seems to be lost in transit, as I try to push some thoughts behind, and as i put my mind to a better focus.

i'm thinking, i'm thinking.

you know how it feels when you get home, and you don't exactly feel well-rested, but you just feel accomplished. it's not exactly a sigh of relief for having gone through the day, but more on a breath of gratitude for something significant that happened today. I can't seem to put my finger on it, but I know something really good happened today.

ahh! i think i'm getting a better grasp of it. Significant, yes, but probably not to all. Today was a day of sticking to decisions. Today was a day of finding the energy to pull beyond my old self. Today meant I could actually go beyond? Today was an ordinary day, turned... well it was still ordinary. Put simply, today meant hope and it becoming reality.

either that, or... it was just the tipsy-sleepy feeling i've had the whole day. :))

or not.

lovely cupcakes, they were
perfect frosting shaped as a tree
winter colors, autumn taste
a happy kid just took a bite.

happy gray colors
and lovely black and white
little by little it had color
summer wisp and springkling fun

happy cupcake, sweetly baked
red, green, blue, yellow and orange.
the kid dropped the cupcake
she was happy with a bite

happy cupcake
happy colors
happy kid

lala lee lull lala

Turtles walk by
As the little birds fly
It was a rather awkward morning
Wearing a wrong pair of socks

Mufflers for my ears
mittens for my hands
I got a good glance
of the glimmering river ahead

fishes swim by
bunnies hop along
my cheeks could not help it
but be overstretched with smiles

doo doo dee dum dee doo
i skipped and i hopped
lala la lul lala la lala lee lul lala
i sing like i knew no words.

coffee and toast for breakfast
bacon and eggs are options
eat merrily and with glee
a good morning it will be!
